General Counsel

Stacy is proud to be among the first wave of corporate attorneys to join the cannabis industry upon legalization. As General Counsel, Stacy heads the legal department and advises the organization on a wide range of legal and business issues while also working in close collaboration with the Board of Directors and the remainder of the executive team on corporate strategy.

Previously, Stacy was an associate at the Law Offices of Omar Figueroa, a Northern California-based cannabis criminal defense firm, where she spearheaded the firm’s transition from criminal defense to corporate and business law to serve the newly-legal industry. Before joining the cannabis industry, Stacy counseled hundreds of craft breweries throughout the United States with everything from regulatory compliance to intellectual property matters as an associate at the Craft Beer Attorney APC. During this time, Stacy also published Brew Law 101: A Legal Guide to Opening a Brewery, the leading laymen’s guide to opening a brewery in the State of California.

An accomplished legal counsel and trusted advisor on such matters as compliance, intellectual property, risk mitigation, ethics, corporate governance, and M&A issues, all with a focus on highly regulated consumable industries. Stacy received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and her Bachelor in Arts in English Literature from the University of Redlands.
